Ever wonder how you could contribute to Home at Last, but you cant be a foster? There are many opportunities, and were thankful to every person who helps us in our quest to reduce the unwanted dog population! 1. Volunteer. We are a volunteer-based organization and our work is made possible by our great community. Volunteers help us transport our dogs, hold them at meet & greet events, and otherwise help our dogs find their forever homes. 2. For an upcoming birthday or celebration, request that guests bring donation items in lieu of gifts. Items such as dog food, toys, treats, flea/tick preventative and beds are beyond valuable for organizations like Home at Last! 3. Donate a Thundershirt, which helps dogs with anxiety & stress (shelter.thundershirt/shelterDefault.aspx?sid=PA670) 4. Host a fundraiser or community event. Some examples include: in-home vendor parties; pancake breakfasts; and neighborhood walk/runs - but the possibilities are endless with your creativity! 5. Monetary donations are always welcome.
