Every chance I get at putting a smile on my sons face, I take it - TopicsExpress

Every chance I get at putting a smile on my sons face, I take it with gratitude. No matter how much I try and forget about cancer, it is very real. Gabriel is about to turn 5, do have any idea how much I rejoice at that? Not all cancer kids get to make it to the next year. I have my baby right now, but I may not have him next year. While he is so tough, he is so fragile at the same time. He literally could end up in the hospital tonight. Cancer changes everything. We are not a normal family. Nothing about our lives is easy, there is alot of struggle. But we hold on tight to hope and we are thankful for every smile we get to see, and every moment we get to have. 7 days till our big boy turns 5, 6 days until have a little party for him at a park, and 5 days until we take him to Coco Keys to celebrate (thanks to sweet friends)! 3 days until mommys birthday, which is also Gabriels next oncology appointment where he will receive chemo and intrathecal injection into his spine. Please always keep him in your prayers. He is such a very special little boy :)
