Every morning I wake up, I find a message on my MTN phone line; your call cost is 180. Your credit balance is........ I check the outgoing calls wondering who could have used my phone to call while I was asleep, no nothing. This now being a regular thing every morning I guess its the MTN Gonya. For how long is MTN Uganda MTN Group going to continue ripping us off like this? I am imagining this happening to 5million customers, that is UgShs900million stolen every day from just this. If you consider air time that just disappears after loading; and trust me this has happened to me on very many occasions; we are talking about billions stolen from customers on a daily basis. Do we have laws that protect consumers in Uganda? Who exactly is the beneficially of this theft, because I doubt MTN can go away with theft this without some godfathers!
