Every time I see balloons released (or candle lanterns that float away) I know theyre going to damage something or an animal somewhere. Releasing balloons is LITTER! By the way, if you buy cans or bottles that are held together with plastic, cut those rings into tiny pieces and dispose of it all with your plastic bags that you recycle at the grocery store! Birds, fish, and other wild life eat them, get caught in them, and are injured or become vulnerable to predators. (Yes, my soapbox is tall and wide, and thats just who I am!)
