Every year Mr Price Cycle Club has a Charity Ride which starts from Nigel and finishes in Durban. It takes two days to ride 640km (excellent base training) and all monies go into a charity fund called the Red Cap Foundation. There are about 5 places left. Come on chaps it’s for a good cause. Please take note that you will need to let either Darrell or Corrine know by the TODAY (sorry for the short notice) so that your shirts can be ordered and printed for the charity ride. Should you wish to participate in this year’s event (only 30 x places available) please confirm your place by 07th November 2013 and I will require a deposit of R1500.00 by 11th November 2013. Banking details: Westville Cycling Club Account number: 1593010052 Branch code: 159326 Nedbank Kloof. A brief about the event: 1. Date: 24th-25th November 2013. We travel to Nigel on Saturday 23rd November 2013. 2. Cost per person is R3500.00 which will cover your cost for transport (rider & bike) from Durban to Nigel, dinner and accommodation in Nigel, all meals and drinks on the ride, dinner, accommodation and breakfast pack in Ladysmith and lunch at the finish in Durban. You will also receive 2 x event cycle tops with your name on the cycle top and should you wish to have your company logo on the cycle top, this will cost you R5000.00 which is donated to the charity fund. 3. Riders that have completed 3 x rides and riders that will be participating in their 3rd ride will be presented with a special coloured cycle top. 4. Our target this year is to raise another R1000000.00 (last year we raised R115000.00) and this is possible if you can raise another R1500.00 to add to your R3500.00 entry fee. In other words, if everyone (x 30) pays R5000.00 we will make a profit of R100000.00. 5. The distance for the 1st day is 344km and the 2nd day is 269km. NB. The ride is undulating 6.
