Everyone is worried about this government shut down when the fact of the matter is the US dollar is being shut down due to the changes with China, Iran, & Syria. China broke the agreement the USA had with most of the major oil exporting countries. Oil was supposed to only be sold in American currency. China is now allowing the sale of oil in the "Yuan". Our country has been trying to stopping this for years. Gaddfi was "murdered" for trying to bring Gold into Libya currency. For those who do not understand what I am saying. Basically, if your are not American but want oil, you must exchange your money to ours and then purchase your oil. Now, other countries do not have to be indirectly taxed by us to purchase imported oil.
