Everyone needs to read this... Remember Cameron and other righties whining about us losing sovereignty to the EU? Well it seems Cameron and others have been secretly lobbying the EU to include the bit in the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnerships (TTIP) that would allow private companies to sue governments that passed any laws they felt were limiting their ability to make a profit...New environmental laws? Trying to improve workers rights? Run our own services? Our power as a nation to do these things would become greatly reduced as other countries who have signed agreements like this are finding to their cost. After a massive protest here and in other European countries it was looking like the EU was about to insist on the removal of this part of the treaty, but it has been revealed our government and others are trying to keep it in... We ask you to think about this for a minute... Cameron is essentially fighting for the right of unelected corporations to dictate how we run our country and subsume the authority of parliament and our legal system (hearings would be behind closed doors by appointed corporate lawyers whos decisions will be final - there is no right of appeal !) If anyone had the slightest shred of doubt about who Cameron and the right really serve then this should blow that away. Now what is that you usually call someone who acts massively against the interests of their nation and fellow countrymen? WRx
