Everything went well today at the Vets office. Phil & I got there and they explained everything to us beforehand so we knew what to expect. They did not rush our visit with Dusty at all. We were in a nice room with leather chairs and a warm cozy blanket. Dusty came in looking much better than when we dropped him off yesterday. He recognized us and started purring right away. Dusty sat on both of our laps and kept looking at us and just purring and stomping. He had his chin on Phils knee. Still very weak but very happy. This last visit with the old cat was really quite beautiful. Eventually they came in and gave him one shot to put him into the most peaceful sleep and the 2nd one to slowly stop his heart. It was truly the most peaceful and beautiful way to go. Be at peace now Dusty in heaven and thank you for 14.5 years of beautiful joyful memories. You will be missed!
