Everything works. Every diet works, every workout works... Until it doesnt. At that point you dont need to bail on your program and profess that is doesnt work. OF course it did. The most amazing attribute of the human body is its ability to adapt to almost any stimulus it is presented with. No matter what you through at it, the human body can find a way to adapt to it. So your diet did work, your workout did work, until your body adapted to it. This is when you need to read the ebb and flow of your body, is it ready to push harder? does it need to rest? What is your body doing? That is where coaches like myself, Jason Trett, Mark Limbaga, Mark Reifkind, Mimi Flores, Carol Donahoe, William Douglas Fisher, and countless others come into play. We spend our whole lives reading the human body. Watching how you change and adapt, and when to push and when to hold back. Becoming in tune with your body just takes a little work.
