Exciting News - with the help of our partners at Miami-Dade County and the NOVA Southeastern University Center of Excellence in Coral Reef Ecosystems, we visited what is believed to be the largest area of federally threatened staghorn coral (Acropora cervicornis) in the contiguous U.S. offshore of Miami today in 25 of water. It is so inspiring and exciting to come upon vast and healthy coral reefs in our region that we werent previously aware of. Especially of a federally threatened species like staghorn coral. There is still beauty and hidden treasures like Brian & Sarahs Reef just waiting to be discovered .. even here in the highly developed Magic City known as Miami.
