Exclusive: Pamela Geller reveals why it’s so important to support, defend Jewish state Israel’s recent defensive incursion into Gaza made it clearer than ever: The struggle between Israel and the Palestinian jihadists is not about land, or “settlements,” or a Palestinian state, or “occupation.” It is a religious war, based on the Quran’s calls to wage war against and subjugate infidels. The war on the Jews is an Islamic religious imperative. And even more than that, it is the primal struggle of good versus evil and life versus death. The Palestinian jihad is a manifestation of the hatred of the good for being the good. It is the jealousy and hatred that the evil force has for the good. Just compare Jewish values and Islamic values. It is common knowledge these days that while numerous Nobel Prize winners have been Jews, hardly any have been Muslim. Algemeiner reported in October 2013 that “according to the Jewish Virtual Library, since the Nobel was first awarded in 1901 approximately193 of the 855 honorees have been Jewish (22 percent). Jews make upless than 0.2 percent of the global population. Muslims, by contrast, have won only four Nobel Prizes, and two of these have been Nobel Peace Prizes, one of which was awarded to Yasir Arafat – showing the Peace Prize to be a cruel and stupid joke. Jews have won not only the Peace Prize, but Nobel Prizes in Literature, Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Medicine. The contrast here stems from the fact that Jewish culture reveres life and learning. Islamic culture generally devalues learning anything outside the Quran, and Islamic jihadists boast about how much they love death, not life. The Quran even taunts Jews about this: “Say, ‘O you who are Jews, if you claim that you are allies of Allah, excluding other people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful” (62:6). “Wish for death.” Islamic jihadis have taken that to heart. Palestinian Media Watch reported last week that “two of the most senior Hamas leaders appeared on Hamas TV yesterday saying that Hamas loves death like Israelis love life.” One was the Hamas Chief of Staff Muhammad Deif, who said: “Today you [Israelis] are fighting divine soldiers, who love death for Allah like you love life, and who compete among themselves for Martyrdom like you flee from death.” Hamas TV also broadcast a statement from the former Hamas Prime Minister, Ismail Haniyeh, who has said: “We love death like our enemies love life! We love Martyrdom, the way in which [Hamas] leaders died.” Pamela Geller’s commitment to freedom from jihad and Shariah shines forth in her books – featured at the WND Superstore G-d is the author of life and love. Pain and suffering and death are rebellion against G-d. But it’s what Islamic culture is all about. There are myriad websites dedicated to Israeli inventions and breakthroughs in areas such as the home, technology, the environment, health, culture, travel, social action and many others. Islamic websites, on the other hand, are dedicated to jihad, war, incitement, supremacism and taqiyya. So much of what Islam inspires is oriented toward pain, suffering, death, oppression and misery. Take the difference between kosher slaughter and halal slaughter. Kosher and halal are often assumed to be essentially the same, when they are not even remotely the same. The objective of kosher slaughter is to be as gentle, humane and painless as possible to the animal being slaughtered. Halal slaughter is just the opposite. It requires the animal to die a slow, painful death, as it is bled out. Kosher strictly forbids cruel methods of slaughter such as strangulation, while halal slaughter requires the animal to be bled out in agony. Halal has also become an instrument of Islamic supremacism. All over Britain and the U.S., halal meat is sold without being labeled as such. Institutions and companies have adopted all-halal policies to appease their Muslim customers or employees. No Jews ever forced anyone to eat kosher food. But Judaism doesn’t have a supremacist agenda to subjugate non-Jews. The struggle against anti-Semitism is the struggle between good and evil. Traditional Jews are peaceful, studious and dedicated to G-d and their families. They are taught to be benevolent and work to relieve suffering. On the Muslim side is the exaltation of violence, polygamy and a concern for selfish pleasure at the expense of others – hence the subjugation of women and non-Muslims. The land of Israel has no oil or gold or any significant resources. But it contains the Jewish people. Conquering it would be a victory of violence and hatred over magnanimity and love. Good versus evil. Life versus death. All this is why it is so important to support and defend Israel. It isn’t just about the tiny Jewish state. This is a struggle for the very soul of mankind. We will be standing with the good in the defense of global freedom. Stand with Israel and the minorities persecuted under Muslim rule at our American Freedom Defense Initiative rally on Sunday, Aug. 17, from 3:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Union Square in New York City. We’ll be featuring speakers from the Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Yazidi, Kurdish and Buddhist communities. Join us.
