Exhausting day. My 80 yr old dad fell last night and called me this morning to take him to the VA hospital. He was and still is a lot of pain in his ribs, hip, and back. Thankfully nothing was broken. Only pulled muscles and soft tissue damage. We got there at 10AM. X-rays, Percoset, and nine hours later we are home. Got him in his house at 8PM and me home at 9PM. That is an insane amount of time for an old man in pain to sit in a wheelchair. Nice people at the VA but the service is SO SLOW! Too many patients per doctor.
