Experiencing a couple incidents with an unenlightened soul this week...I saw that what was meant to cut open an old wound, did, but only briefly. I realized rather quickly that while it stung, Im no longer in that spot to have the hidden agendas of others have any impact on my life. I realized That I actually did something over the years, lots of somethings to better my own self, my own situation and that of my children. The other individual whom is just using their uneducated mouth can continue to speak without any validity. Their words, just words...there is no truth, there is no impact. There never was, there never will be. For I stood up long ago and declared never again will I allow the negative actions of others to dictate my life. I saw first hand this week that I had two choices and a chance to live my declaration ...react or let go. I chose let it go. Let God. In doing so I freed myself even more so to enjoy. I had a fantastic week, full of fun, smiles, friends and great conversations. I also learned I love how I felt by not reacting. I think if there is a next time, I wont have two choices, I will naturally let go, not giving a second thought, a second chance to anyone to take my smile even for a moment.
