Extremely honored to have met some fantastic authors and teachers out of India and South Asia who are connected to the literary group and publisher PoiesisOnline.Com, who have featured my latest film, Song of Nishida, on their website. And a big thanks to its founder and brain trust Gopakumar Radhakrishnan who showed an enormous amount of generosity in starting a conversation with an entire community I would have never have met otherwise. And to Wickerson Studios LLC as well, who shared it with the most ironic but also hilariously fitting audiences of them all, art students. The reaction to this last work was so far past any expectations I could have ever had it was ridiculous. From the wonderful community at Ecopsychology to the unexpected and overjoyed feature via The Creators Project. A huge thanks to The Wires Alternative String Duo for their fellowship and all around wicked passion and talent, and Lubomyr Melnyk for letting me interact with his work. Its been a hell of a ride, and it will feel unbelievably good, but also a bit bittersweet to publish the last installment this winter via Lantern Journal after which we will be taking a much needed sabbatical.
