Extremely urgent. Please share. The owners of these dogs are loosing their home and the dogs have no where to go to. All dogs are altered and utd. Located in Pensacola Fl. This is my boy dog. In fact, we called him boy dog for almost six months because we just could not call him, FireTrain. My son named him that because trains were fast and the old trains had fire and FireTrain was FAST! lol. His excitement over the name was hilarious. So, it stuck. FireTrain is 2 1/2. He will be 3 on December 24, 2011. FireTrain has always ran gimpy and clumsily and would often limp after a hard play with Christopher. After several visits of a repeated injury, it was discovered FireTrain was born with a birth defect and was missing a knee cap. Because of that, his good leg was suffering and began giving out. At that time we found out that he had the hips of an old man. The vet began blood platelet transfusions and after many and not seeing any improvement, we stopped. FireTrain will eventually need surgery on his hips and knees. At times he snaps and attacks Nala. I have to attribute that to pain. It doesnt happen often, but I have noticed when a front comes through it seems to trigger something. Ive learned what to look for. He loves to play ball but we do so for very short limits of time because he will start to tremble. FireTrain is my sons dog. My son has Aspergers. Melt downs are common but FireTrain just adores him. When he hears Christophers voice, he comes running. FireTrain will lick the skin off your face if you let him! He truly loves his boy and his boy adores him. If you are interested in FireTrain, he will need to be the only dog unless you pair him with his sister Valentine. He has never attacked her. He has snapped . . . gone after/attacked at almost ever other dog we have fostered. FireTrain weighs in at 68lbs. We have found that if he weighs over that, he begins to limp, under that we see ribs. You can message me or call me if you are interested in meeting FireTrain. 850-292-3010 This is Nala, AKA . . Princess Nala Jean. Nala is our miracle baby. She is the sole survivor of a litter of nine that had distemper. I was new at using essential oils and didnt realize I could use them on animals or would have used them on all of them. Because of the distemper and her being the last one to catch it, it was well over three months before she came in to contact with other humans, maybe even five months. I have to check her vet records. She does good with other dogs but is fearful of humans. It takes several trips to get her comfortable with new people. She is loyal and dedicated and yearns to please people. She is still VERY hyper and does not realize she is over 70lbs. She is solid and still almost knocks me over. She loves to sit on your feet or on your lap and is very affectionate. We celebrate Nalas birthday on June 1st as I do not know her exact birthday. Nala has not been spayed but she will be prior to adoption. Nala is a barker and she barks loudly but all she wants it to protect and love. She is amazing. Whoever adopts Nala will need to be patient and calm. She does fine with my children who are very loud, but she has been raised with them. Nala does not like change. Rearranging the room scares her. We continue to use essential oils on her for transitional purposes. If you are looking for a loyal companion, she is the one. Nala loves to jump on the trampoline also You can message me or call/text at 850-292-3010. Valentine is the sister of FireTrain. She is 2 1/2 years old. She was born on December 24, 2011 She is petite at 36lbs. She has the most precious ears. We love those ears! At times they stick straight out to the side. My husband often calls her, bat ears. She does good with baby kittens but if she has not grown up with them, she does not like them and will destroy them, especially in pack. Valentine does not give many kisses, but she greets you with rooing and weeble wobbling that just melts your heart! She loves to play with balls and sticks but does not like to bring them back to you! She would rather hoard them for herself. Valentine has done great with other dogs and was my test dog while we were fostering. She has been spayed. She is due for her vaccinations and will be vaccinated before re-homing.Valentine does have allergies. She is currently taking prednisone for her allergies.
