FACEBOOK and YOUTUBE alert!!! Just today several sites got shut down, videos were removed and peoples acounts restricted. Russias war has gone online. We need to keep COPIES of everything significant, especially groups providing support during this war, and EVIDENCE, eye-witness reports, incriminating selfies and videos. This has to be done immediately, because Russias network of minions is keeping tight control over everything and is increasing the noose with every passing hour. Russia is also increasing propaganda media budgets across the board substantially, so that they can do even more. I wouldnt be surprised if they are buying up copyrights and copyrighting evidence of war crimes and other culpable activity so that they can have it removed. Thats the rub. Laws can work for good or evil. IPR was intended to protect real intellectual property, not legal evidence or simple information. But lawbreakers can always find ways to use the law for their own purposes. Anybody running a group in FB or a channel in YouTube MUST do backups of everything at least once a week offline. We are trusting commercial organizations with our intellectual archives but those organizations are susceptible to financial threats from Russia, as we all know already.
