FALSE SECURITY READINGS; 18-21 Living in quietness and neutrality is not a guarantee against aggression. This is a true today as it was in the past. Living in isolation is not necessarily security. The people of Laish is discovered the truth the hard way and too late. They were living in isolation and had no relationship with any one else. They were living in safety unsuspecting and secure. But then disaster came. It was false security. The same principle may be applied to other areas of our lives. It is as true politically as it is spiritually. No man is an island. We cannot live in complete isolation with no relationship with anyone else. Sooner or later we will need the help of others. One reason for isolation is the fear of involvement. But as Christians, more so as Christian workers, we must be totally involved with other people. For God has created us as social beings. We are meant to live in fellowship with others. GODBLESS!
