FAQ about Cabaret 1. When is the performance September 13th at 1 pm 2. Where? We are working on that as I type ;) 3. Is there going to be a dress rehearsal? yes, the week before on the Sunday before the performance, 12 to 4 pm 4. Are we wearing costumes? Right now, Meaghan McLeod Mozingo and Dianna Swenson are directing this show and Meaghan is in the works on costuming ideas. We would like to do costumes and even a little set design. Details are being worked on 5. What songs is everybody doing together? We are all going to be singing Seasons of Love, One Day More and all dancing during The Ladies Choice from Hairspray 6. When should I have my songs memorized by? Your solos and duets and group numbers should be memorized by your second rehearsal. That way, David Beloff, our acting coach, can work on the acting parts with you and Meaghan can work on staging with you. 7. How is the show being put together? Meaghan is writing a narration to go with the songs, and Ryan Sobotta and David will be performing skits in between the numbers! 8. Where are the rehearsals taking place? At Songbird Music Studios, unless otherwise noted, on Sundays from 3 pm to 5 pm. Music rehearsals and dance rehearsals are at this time. There is time every Monday starting this Monday from 230 to 330 pm to work on music with Dyanna Hornbaker and myself. David B and a few other musicians may be around to work once we get closer to the show. Please dont just show up though, make an appointment! 9. What is the rehearsal schedule again?
