FEI Update July; ENDURANCE FEI Entry System for Endurance competitions The FEI Online Entry System for Jumping Events was officially launched in January this year and is now running successfully for all CSI Events around the world. The new Entry System was set up to manage the Entries for FEI Events in Jumping and automatically checks FEI registration and eligibility of Athletes and Horses before the competition. The FEI Online Entry System was very much welcomed within the FEI Jumping community and we are constantly working to further improve the system to make it as efficient as possible for all users. We are very pleased to inform you that we are currently working on the FEI Online Entry System for Endurance Events and that this system will become compulsory on the 1 October 2013 for all CEI Events around the world. Below you will find information related to this important project: Training sessions for National Federations, Organising Committees and IT Providers From July 2013, online training sessions will be organised to demonstrate how the system works, provide practical training and show the different functionalities to the National Federation and Organising Committee Members. This system was built to be used by everyone and is therefore relatively easy to use and will provide great benefits to all stakeholders. As soon as the dates of the online training sessions are defined, the concerned persons will receive an email with a subscription form. Additional online training sessions will be held during the season to offer everyone a chance to participate. In addition, dedicated user support will be set up in order to help the users with the FEI Entry System. Launch On the 1 October 2013, the FEI Entry System for Endurance Events will be officially launched and will be compulsory for all CEI Events around the world, which will be managed through this System. Prior to this date, in September, the FEI Entry System will be used during a Pilot phase by some selected National Federations; those National Federations will be contacted individually. We trust that the FEI Entry System will help all stakeholders with the management of Endurance Events, and help National Federations and Organisers transmit results to the FEI, all in more efficient way. We will keep you informed on the progress of this project during the summer but in the meantime should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Everyone who has a role to play in this process should be informed; therefore, feel free to forward this information to all other people involved.
