FIBA Basketball World Cup-Men : Spain : Aug 30 to Sept 14, 2014 Eleventh Day : 9th September Late night Qr Final : After a sloppy start holders & hot favourites USA beat Slovenia 119-76 to enter the semis where they will meet Lithuania on 11th Sept Though, Captain Harden & Curry not finding the rhythm in the 1st half the winners managed to keep themselves ahead, thanks to the giants Faried, Cousins, Davis & Rose. The Slovenians were finding very difficult to match to their speedy opponents who were missing a lot from the long range otherwise the margin would have been much much more. After changing end at 49-42, the Americans rightly reduced their speed but were all over the court & almost everybody started dunking and scoring from every angle. Even the new entrant, Thompson who emerged as the top scorer, found the hoop frequently. It was treat to watch the Champions, although not at their best. The Organisers would have certainly called their technical team to check both the rings after the match !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im sure if the Americans play their 80% of the game, NO TEAM CAN MATCH THEM!!
