FINALS PREVIEW: DIVISION 5 By Ben Spencer SAAFL © Glenunga scraped through to the finals after a heart stopping 1 point thriller over North Haven, had things gone their way in the last term, the Magpies would be ones in the Rams position. The Rams make the journey north to tackle Elizabeth who’s form at times has been inconsistent (same can be said about Glenunga). The Eagles lost to Glenunga convincingly back in round 11 by 54 points in a very high scoring affair. Although previous encounters mean nothing in the finals the rams have the momentum and a nothing to lose attitude. Kenilworth and Para Hills do battle at the large expanses of Saint Mary’s Park. Para Hills after starting the season disappointingly have played brilliant football and have earned their place in third spot. Kenilworth has been damaging at times and plays the large open spaces better than anyone. It will be a tough ask for the Big Reds but never underestimated the underdog come finals time.
