FOLLOW ME! It was the same for ELISHA when ELIJAH was passing through. Just as with ELISHA, LEVI, and the other ELEVEN, there was a CHOICE to be made. There was a required YES! JESUS had conversations with His FATHER that give us an IDEA about those who had an UNQUESTIONING YES! They were GIVEN to HIM by His FATHER. "I have manifested Your name TO THE MEN WHOM YOU GAVE ME out of the world; THEY WERE YOURS AND YOU GAVE THEM TO ME, and they have kept Your word.” [John 17:6] They were not RANDOM nor ACCIDENTAL followers any more than we are. MANY ARE CALLED BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN. LEVI was among the chosen and JESUS had a RESPONSIBILITY to him, just as we are RESPONSIBLE for those we DISCIPLE. “That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spoke, OF THEM WHICH YOU GAVE ME HAVE I LOST NONE.” [John 18:9] When He APPROACHES your desk, will you be SATISFIED as the CALLED or will your YES, show you to be THE CHOSEN??
