...................FOR GOODNESS SAKE, SAY IT WITH LOVE!.................. The term shock jock was coined a few years back. It refers to radio and TV commentators who make blatant, outlandish, rude or sometimes-untrue statements just for the shock affect it has on the listeners. Some folks will do and say anything just for attention. Ive said all that to say this, please dont be a Facebook Shock Jock....I hardly run the news feed anymore because of the so called Christian folk who in the name of religion say some things with such malice to just try and shock their readers, or put someone down that doesnt believe exactly like them. Listen, you may be preaching truth, but without love, it is sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. (GW) 1 Cor. 13 makes it very clear what love is and is not, again Gods Word Translation 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 & 13 (GW) 4 Love is patient. Love is kind. Love isnt jealous. It doesnt sing its own praises. It isnt arrogant. 5 It isnt rude. It doesnt think about itself. It isnt irritable. It doesnt keep track of wrongs. 6 It isnt happy when injustice is done, but it is happy with the truth. 7 Love never stops being patient, never stops believing, never stops hoping, never gives up. 13 So these three things remain: faith, hope, and love. BUT THE BEST ONE OF THESE IS LOVE! And as if that were not enough Paul comes back in 1 Cor. 16:14 and says Let all that you do be done in love. One more thing....Ive noticed.... That love is never used by a Face Book shock jock.... What ever you do, .....................FOR GOODNESS SAKE, SAY IT WITH LOVE!..........................
