FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE REMAIN CALM WHILES WE FIGHT TO EXONERATE THE 5 PATRIOTS We wish to appeal to our teeming supporters to remain calm in the face of injustice meted out to the 5 NPP activists by the Tamale High Court. The outrage and anger by the NPP supporters are understandable but as believers in rule of law, we must comport ourselves. Our forbearers fought hard to establish Rule of Law in Ghana and we should be the last to want to undermine what they fought to establish. Those planning demonstrations must stop. We can disagree with the verdict in a more civilize manner, we should not insult and threaten the court as this constitute a fundamental debasement of the Rule of Law. The door of justice is not shut on us. The Obiri Boahen- led team of lawyers will use the appellate system and deploy the necessary legal arguments to exonerate these NPP supporters.
