FOR THE REST OF THE STORY.. For some that may not know. On this day, 9/11, 2002 my sweet wife Willie was home alone while I was at work at Murray State College. About 9 in the morning she went to the garden to gather okra for at that time we lived in Ravia, Okla. and had a big garden. Our daughter and her two girls lived with us and Vonda was at work at the same place I was and the girls were in school. While gathering the okra, the sweet wife new something was taking place in her head that wasnt right so she went to the house and sat down. She tried to call daughter Vonda but couldnt get the numbers right so she stopped trying. She then took her Bible and tried to read but couldnt. Noon time came and I very seldom went home for lunch and the same with Vonda but that day she did and found her mother sitting with the Bible in her lap. She spoke to her and things looked okay but when her mother did not respond, she checked further and realized that something was bad wrong. She then took her to the E R there in Tishomingo and then called and got word to me to go there for something was wrong with her mother, my sweet wife. At the E R the Dr. said it looked like a stroke but their technician that took test wasnt there and he wanted to keep her over night but we said no way and told the Ambulance EMTS to take her to Ardmore which they did with lights flashing and sirens sounding. I followed and there they immediately took test and found that she had had two strokes and began to treat her and admitted her. She was in the hospital for 2 weeks but unable to put words together that made since and Dr. said that it probably would be permanent. Well, God saw different and in the weeks following she improved so much and today still has some difficulty at times but God is not through working this out. She used to sing with me in two part harmony all the time at church but hasnt been able to do that in a long time until last night at church. The Evangelist prayed for her and gave her a word of knowledge from the Lord and she came to the Piano while I was playing for the altar service and began to sing in harmony with me without any difficulty. To God be the glory for great things He has done.. NOW YOU KNOW THE REST OF THE STORY..We will never forget this day 9/11--2002 God is so good...
