FORMAL BALLOT FOR PERIMETER FENCE & NEIGHBORHOOD SECURITY Please respond to both of the below questions concerning a perimeter fence being erected around Morningside and your household’s willingness to make voluntary contributions to further security-related measures to protect our neighborhood from crime. Please retain the back copy of this ballot for your records and return the front copy with your written vote to the address stated on the enclosed envelope with postage prepaid. Would your household support erecting a perimeter fence, up to 8’ high, encircling Morningside? The purpose of the fence would be to reduce, but not fully restrict, pedestrian access into and out of the neighborhood at our 12 entry and exit points with all pre- and post-construction costs, responsibilities, and liabilities being borne by the City of Miami.
