FQ: Fan question. Post anon, please. Okay, so I need some advice... My cousin who I am EXTREMELY close to is marrying the spawn of Satan (seriously). Her and her mother sat around talking shit about how our showers (my baby, her bridal) were scheduled for the same day. The comment "Maybe we will get lucky and she will have a miscarriage" was made, and laughed about by the spawn of Satan and her mother. I have not liked her for awhile as there have been things said and done in the past but I ALWAYS move on and end up kissing her a$$ to make my family happy and keep the peace with my cousin. Now after that comment being I can not forgive or forget or even be civil with her. I am 36 weeks now, was 34 when the comment was made. I have tried giving myself time to "cool down" but it is not working. But I want the relationship with my cousin and his children. But at the same time I am to the point where I REFUSE to have any respect for her. Am I over reacting? would you be able to move on from a comment like that as a mother and if so how?
