***FREE app of the day*** (1.99-->Free) Playroom - Lessons with Max. Absolutely LOVE this app! This is a well thought out and engaging app for toddlers and preschoolers. There are 4 games in all, plus a game mix option to extend the ability to play and apply all the concepts learned. In peekaboo, you help Max, the cat, find his toys. Colors and numbers help not only teach beginning matching and sorting, but it also gives kids a chance to understand counting by using a 1:1 correspondence. I like that the puzzles have a greyed outline to help beginners be successful. Matching and a Memory game are also included. The graphics are bright and cheerful, but not too visually overstimulating.
