FRIENDS LEND ME YOUR EAR: There was this young lady who had lost her job. She constantly borrowed money from friends and family to keep from losing her car, her home and everything she ever owned. She went to her best friend who had loaned her money previously and told her that she really needed her help. Her friend told her that she couldnt afford to lend her anymore money. The young lady began to sob and said if you dont help me Im going to lose the last thing that I have. The friend asked her what might that be. She replied without your help Im going to Lose my mind. Her friend said okay how much do you want me to loan you this time? She said I dont want your money I just want you to Lend Me Your Ear. Some people who are going thru hard stuff only want someone to talk with about whats troubling them in life. They are looking for someone to understand them, pray for them, listen to their problems and simply want you to Lend Them Your Ear. But sometimes we cant find anyone to listen when you have problems. Maybe they dont understand that you need a Listener not a Lecturer. You need an Ear not an Ear Full. Therefore try Jesus hes All Ears. He will listen to you and he will Direct you and Guide you: if in return you just Lend him your Ear. James 1:19 You must understand this, my dear brothers. Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Luke 10:16 The one who listens to you listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me; and he who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me. Jeremiah 29:12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. John 10:27-28 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.
