FROM MADISON!!! Northside neighbors, lock your doors. Madison police are looking a man who escaped from Mendota Mental Health Institute Tuesday afternoon.Police were notified at 4:16 p.m. that Graham L. Stowe, 30, had escaped from the North Side mental health facility. Stowe climbed a fence and ran into the neighboring woods, according to Madison police Lt. Cory Nelson.Nelson said Stowe has a lengthy violent criminal history and might be armed with a golf club.Police described Stowe as a white male, about 5 feet 8 inches, 165 pounds, with brown hair and goatee. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue denim shorts. Nelson urged residents of the area to lock their doors and keep an eye out for Stowe.Officers were using police dogs Tuesday evening in an effort to track Stowe.
