FROM THE NEWSROOM: Two teens arrested as football players left the field in Plainfield Friday night have been banned from the schools grounds in the future. 18-year-old Zachary Coons and 19-year-old Teaque Carigan were charged with breach of peace and later released from police custody on $500 bonds. Plainfield Police say that officers were dispatched to Plainfield High School for the report of a fight involving fans and players at Fridays football game. When officers arrived, police say some people were still yelling, but no one was actively, physically fighting. During investigation, police learned that the fighting had started as players were leaving the field at the end of the game. In a news release, Police said that Principal Jim Worth, who was present at the time of the arrest, informed Coons and Carigan that they will “be banned from the school grounds for future events.” Police did not say whether anyone was injured during the fight.
