FYI: 15lbs of weight loss does NOT equal 15lbs of fat loss. - TopicsExpress

FYI: 15lbs of weight loss does NOT equal 15lbs of fat loss. Losing weight is all about calories. You can eat McDonalds everyday and lose weight, actually. The idea of eating Meats and veggies (cutting out carbs) only works because... A). You drop 10-15 lbs of water weight/muscle glycogen within two weeks, which is useless if fat loss is the real goal and B). Cutting out a macro nutrient (carbs) usually creates a deficit where there was none before. This is exactly why people regain weight once theyve lost it. They dont know proper ways to diet. Eating 1.2g of protein per lean body mass, eating .45g fat per lbs (.45g per lean body mass if obese), and filling the rest of the deficit with carbs (no theyre not bad for you nor will they make fat loss occur more quickly). Get a gym membership and start a strength based resistance training program 3x per week (full body, no 4-5 day splits). Easy. Youll lean out that way with no deficit on muscle building. Its kind of what Marquis has me on now. Reason why he doesnt argue over me consuming the right kind of carbs but forces me to weight lift. Have a good day my friends...
