FYI... New Child Care Funding is Available Child Care Subsidy Program funding is now available to working Westchester County residents with incomes over 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Income eligibility depends on family size - see chart below. Families must meet other requirements as well. This funding, called Title XX was opened to new families by the Westchester County Department of Social Services on April 14, 2014. If you are a working parent who would like HELP PAYING FOR CHILD CARE, and your household income falls below the income ranges below... YOU SHOULD APPLY. You may be eligible if your household income is: FAMILY SIZE Income Levels for Title XX are Between: 2 $31,461 - $43,257.50 3 $39,581 - $50,464.50 4 $47,700 - $53,662.50 5 $55,821 - $62,797.50 6 $63,940 - $71,932.50 7 $72,060 - $81,067.50 8 $80,180 - $90,202.50 Note that low-income child care subsidy assistance is also available to working parents whose incomes fall below the above levels. To Apply: Call the Child Care Subsidy Unit of the Westchester Department of Social Services at 914-995-6521 or 914-995-6522 or go to 10 County Center Road, Rm 213, White Plains to request a Child Care Subsidy application.
