FYI on Separation of Church and State I want to clarify a couple - TopicsExpress

FYI on Separation of Church and State I want to clarify a couple things regarding a term used, it is a personal annoyance with me so bare with me. First the term separation of church and state does not exist anywhere in the US Constitution. It was invented and used by the left as an excuse and reason not to allow any church beliefs, in particular Judeo Christian, to be allowed any access to the public education system, or for any such religion to be allowed to make use of public school system grounds for events etc etc etc. Short version the left uses separation of church and state to deny religious freedom and freedom of speech. Now, where did the separation of church and state come from? Where did the left take it and twist it to their own vile agenda of anti religion? Here is the actual text from the US Constitution The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States. here is the link, look in Section 4, Article VI earlyamerica/.../constitution/text.html
