Fact; While the Privet Sector has seen very little if any raise over the last 30 years Union Contracted Public employees receiving annual raises are driving up the price of commodities. The Floater has already guarantied those working under Federal contracts a minimum raise (because those under Federal Contract are paid what is termed “Prevailing Wage” which is already much higher than that of the Privet Sector I’m not sure what this will effect)which will do no more than further push up the cost of living. I’d like to point out that while there’s all this talk of raising the minimum wage the Floater with the consent of Congress gave those on Social Security a 1.5% cost of living raise that doesn’t cover the cost of rising gas prices.
