Faith is a powerful word, but an extremely difficult concept to understand. To have Faith is to Believe in the unknown, and believing in something doesnt always bring our thoughts out to be true; in the same breath, it doesnt make it false either. A lot of the time, well find ourselves believing in something SO MUCH that if anyone tells us otherwise, we get offended. Like for one, I hate it when people tell me that Ill never be successful in life because I chose not to stay in College. I tend to look back at them and think to myself, You dont have what I want, so are you successful ?. So by staying on the path that Im on and getting the results that Im getting, Id like to believe that Im moving forward in life without having a College Education, and so I continue to do what I do. If I want to be rich, then Im going to do what I believe is going to make me rich. If I want to be happy, then Im going to do what I BELIEVE is going to make me happy. Doesnt mean it will, but thats why I always say, The quality of our life is determined by the decisions that we make. Its a Cause and Effect Syndrome. If I choose to be ignorant when opportunity presents itself, then I wont reap the benefits. If I choose to be open minded when something inside me doesnt feel right, then I might get bit in the ass hard. You gotta pick and choose your battles, but dont ever blame the world for your poor decision making. Like one of my old mentors used to tell me, The mind is like a parachute, it only works if its open, so rather than being ignorant to the world, be open to the possibilities.
