Families interested in starting the process for participation in the 2013-2014 HCYA Graduation can find the required supporting documents on the HCYA website. The actual application for participating is not on the site until November. The cost to participate will remain the same as 2013: $20 HCYA membership fee for graduates NOT participating in a a 2013-2014 sport, $20 Application fee, and then $295 split in two payments. Our fees cover: graduation ceremony/commencement speaker, audiovisual for during the graduation, dvd of the ceremony for the family, photo of the graduation class and photo of the parents with the graduate, cap and gown, diploma with cover, honor awards for selected graduates, honor cords needed, light reception, and a printed program. The HCYA graduates do not do service projects as a group or have any other functions as a group other than the HCYA Gala/Prom which is optional and open to all high school age homescoolers and their invited guests. Details for the gala will be posted in November.
