Fan question: Its day 6 postpartum and my milk still hasnt let down... Before leaving hospital I was forced to start supplementing due to over a 10% weight loss as they said I wasnt giving him enough. I am still breast feeding and simply topping off with formula after 30mins or more on each side at feedings with the exception of night feedings as daddy has been helping out. Im afraid that by doing that for the last 3 nights has made it so my milk wont come down. I havent pumped as I havent even thought of doing so but wonder if thats what I should do to help my milk come down. I might also add that I had an emergency c-section. I am a first time mommy and am very concerned about this. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
