Fatal Traffic Collision at Main Street and Florida Street: On Saturday, June 21st, at 11:25 am, the Huntington Beach Police Department responded to the intersection of Main Street and Florida Street, regarding a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. Arriving police officers and fire personnel found an elderly female lying partially underneath a black Toyota Tundra pick-up truck. The female was transported to UCI Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the pick-up truck was fully cooperative, interviewed and later released from the scene. The investigation is ongoing and being conducted by the HBPD Major Incident Reconstruction Team (M.I.R.T.) No citations have been issued and no arrest(s) have been made at this time.
