Feast of TRUMPETS. PART B: THE LORD’S ORDAINED FEASTS: HIS DIVINE APPOINTMENTS WITH MANKIND. Part A was the first four feasts which were fulfilled by Christs first coming was posted last weekend, this is Part B for The Feast of Trumpets. “Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7. The Bible is the sure Word of Prophecy providing a picture of GOD’s entire plan for mankind from Genesis to Revelation. Our Lord and God, Jesus the Messiah the Son of The Most High GOD - YaHoWaH Adonia Elohim, already planned His visitations to mankind to save and deliver us, and to dwell with us forever more, through prophetic pictures outlined in Leviticus 23 & 25 and Exodus 12 & 13. These He instructed His chosen people Israel to keep yearly and forever. “And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are MY Feasts. …it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.” Lev 23:1-2, 21b. From the Strong’s Dictionary, the word FEASTS is from the Hebrew:- mo-ade, mo-ade, mo-aw-daw: which means AN APPOINTMENT. And GOD clearly says “these are MY Feasts.” (Lev23:2): meaning these are a picture or prophecy of HIS divine appointments or divine visitations with mankind. The seven annual feasts The LORD commanded Israel are spread over seven months of the Jewish calendar at set times as instructed by GOD. They are all to be ordained Sabbath days for both Jews and Non-Jews who have placed their faith in HIM. These special days demonstrate the work of redemption through JESUS THE MESSIAH – THE SON OF THE MOST HIGH GOD. “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.” Colossians 2:16-17. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” 1Corinth 5:8 The first four of the seven appointments are already fulfilled – these are Passover, feasts of Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and feasts of Weeks (celebrated yearly during Springtime); they were achieved by Jesus Christ during His first coming when He played the role of the sacrificial Lamb, and also is become our High Priest. The final three appointments are feasts of Trumpets, The Day of Atonement, and feasts of Tabernacles (the Fall feasts) which are celebrated yearly during the fall season later in the year, these divine appointments are still pending. These shall be fulfilled during His second coming as The Bridegroom, the Lion of Judah, The KING of Kings, and finally OUR GOD DWELLING WITH US FOREVER in the eight Day. The first four feasts were fulfilled right on the actual feasts days in connection with Christ’s first coming, and we know that: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Heb 13:8, and He also said - “For I am the LORD, I change not.” Mal 3:6. Therefore the three fall feasts shall likewise be fulfilled in connection to the LORD’s second coming. 5.) Feast of Trumpets – Yom Teruah (Day of blowing the Shofar) – Rosh HaShanah (the Head of year): Lev 23:24. Date - Who can know the day and time that the first streak of light appears on the new moon? “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.” Lev 23:24. “Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on OUR solemn feast day. For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.” Psalm 81:4-5. 1st and 2nd of the month of Tishrei are reserved for the feast of Trumpets. The Shofar is to be blown at the sighting of the new moon at the beginning of the seventh month, the month of Tishrei; but because of the uncertainty of the actual day and time of sighting the moon, two days are given for Yom Teruah. Hence the whole of 1st – 2nd Tishrei is considered as a long day for the feast. Therefore the saying; “No one knows the day or the hour” easily relates to Rosh HaShanah – only GOD knows the actual moment before the silver line of a new moon shall appears for the correct timing of the blowing of the Shofar. Yet another name for Rosh HaShanah is Yom Hakeseh, meaning:- “The Day of the Hiding,” or “The Hidden Day,” or “Day of the Concealed Moon.” Every day during the month of Elul (the month before Tishrei), a trumpet is blown to warn the people to rededicate themselves to GOD, except the 30th day of Elul – the day preceding Rosh Hashanah. On that day the trumpet is not blown, and is therefore silent, until the confirmation of the new moon by the religious leaders which shall always be within any of the two days reserved for Rosh Hashanah. Now consider: “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, AT THE LAST TRUMP: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” 1Corinth 15:51-53. “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and WITH THE TRUMP OF GOD: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1Thess 4:14-17. “Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on OUR solemn feast day. For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.” Psalm 81:4-5. You know GOD does not leave Himself without a witness; Now Picture This: “And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and SANCTIFY them to day and to morrow, and let them WASH their CLOTHES, And BE READY against the third day: for the third day the LORD will COME DOWN in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai. And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and Sanctified the people; and they Washed their Clothes. And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the Voice Of The TRUMPET exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled. And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD Descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. And when the Voice Of The TRUMPET Sounded Long, and waxed Louder and Louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice. And the LORD Came Down upon mount Sinai, On the Top of the Mount: and the LORD Called Moses UP to the Top of the Mount; and Moses WENT UP.” Exodus 19:10-11, 14-20. Only one person was ready to meet with GOD among them, and that was Moses, and only he Went Up when the LORD Descended with The Shout of a TRUMPET to the Top of The Mount. Are we living holy, are our robes washed white as snow, are we sanctified, are we ready to Go Up when HE Descends to the sky with the Shout of The TRUMPET???? Rosh Hashanah is also known as Yom Hazikkaron: A memorial – the Day of Remembrance: Lev 23:24 “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorialH2146 of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. From Strong’s Dictionary memorial is H2146, the original text is Zikron (a memorial, of remembrance:– Zikron). Today many people are saying that it profits nothing to serve GOD and to keep His commandments, that it is vain to live a holy life; the proud are happy and the wicked are prospering while those who blaspheme God’s name and do all sorts of evil seem to be in high places of honour even among they who call on His name. But GOD is saying here, that at Yom Zikkaron, all who remember to serve HIM and to keep His commandments shall be remembered by HIM at HIS appearing; they shall all be His jewels and HE shall spare them from destruction. “Your words have been stout against Me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against Thee? Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept His ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts? And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered. Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembranceH2146 was written before Him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon His name. And they shall be Mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in That Day when I make up My Jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.” Malachi 3:13-18. See, Malachi 3:16 “Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembranceH2146 was written before Him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon His name.” The same word (H2146 – Zikron) used in the original text for the word “memorial” in Lev 23:24 is used for the word “remembrance” in Mal 3:16. Therefore, by HIS Word, The LORD of Hosts is saying: *do not envy the sinners and the wicked *do not say that serving The LORD is vain *do not join the scoffers that say The Coming of The LORD is delayed *be assured that there is a just reward for the wicked and for the righteous *I shall return, and there shall be a remembrance *I shall make a difference between him that serveth Me and him that serveth Me not *ye that remember My commandments shall be Mine forever, ye shall be My jewels *I shall spare you as a man spares his own son *but the wicked shall not be spared; they shall perish along the way. “This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of Remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless. And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.” 2Peter 2:1-18. At the blast of the last Trump, The LORD shall remember all who daily remember HIM in spirit and in truth. The gate of The LORD in heaven is said to open as The LORD descends with the Shout of The Trumpet, and all the remembered ones who have remember HIM shall go in. “Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD: This Gate of The LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.” Psalm 118:19-20. “Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.” Isaiah 26:2-4. One thing that Rosh Hashanah and a Jewish wedding have in common is, it is believed the gates of heaven open during the two ceremonies. All the customs, feasts, and ceremonies of the Jewish people as given to them by God are all as a shadow of the things to come in Christ; including their wedding ceremony (Col 2:16-17). Rosh HaShanah: The Wedding of Messiah. Let us examine the protocol of Jewish wedding ceremony (as we look at Christ the Bridegroom). 1. In the Jewish custom, the father of the bridegroom selects the bride for his son. The father would send his trusted agent to search out the bride; for example Abraham (father) secured a bride for Isaac (son) by sending one of his trusted servants. “And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to Thee. Holy Father, keep through Thine own Name those whom Thou hast given Me, that they may be one, as We are. Father, I will that they also, whom Thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which Thou hast given me: for Thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:11, 24-26. The Holy FATHER Almighty gave us to Jesus our Lord and savior; so who was the agent of The FATHER? “And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.” 1John: 5:8. The FATHER desires the whole world to be saved from destruction, HE has sent the Spirit, and the water which is the ‘Word,’ and the blood which is the ‘bride price’ for the whole world; to appeal to every heart to consent to be among the bride to HIS Son, Jesus the Christ – Yahushua HaMashiach. “For GOD so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16. “For the grace of GOD that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:11-14. GOD The FATHER wants us betrothed to HIS Son Jesus the Messiah. Just to have us in extravagant abundance and safety and love and peace and care in HIS House forever and ever. 2. A bride price was established. Yahushua paid a very high price for His bride, the body of followers. The price paid was His life. It was His Father, The Most Holy and Most High GOD - YaHoWaH Adonia, HE set the price and agreed to pay just to marry mankind out of everlasting destruction and into HIS House, all because of Love for mankind; a Love that man cannot fully grasp with the mind. Even though GOD has given HIS Son for the entire world to be saved – yet the world rejects HIM. “Sacrifice and offering Thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast Thou not required. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will, O my GOD: yea, Thy law is within my heart.” Psalm 40:6-8. “And He went a little further, and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me: nevertheless not as I will, but as Thou wilt.” Matt 26:39. “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by Him do believe in GOD, that raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in GOD.” 1Peter 1:18-21. “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are Gods.” 1Corinth 6:19-20. 3. The bride and groom are betrothed to each other. Whenever you accept the Messiah into your heart and life, your become betrothed to Him while living on the earth. You have agreed to be married hopefully awaiting a glorious wedding. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Rom 10:8-9. But there are terms and conditions before consummation of the marriage. 4. A written document is drawn up (Ketubah) which is the betrothal contract. The Ketubah is the marriage contract that states the bride price, the promises of the groom, and the rights of the bride. The word Ketubah means “that which is written.” The Ketubah must be executed and signed prior to the wedding ceremony. The Bible is the believers Ketubah. All the promises that YaHoWaH provides for the followers of Messiah are legally ours. “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” 2Corinth 1:20. Our Ketubah also has instructions for the followers of Messiah, and obedience guarantees an appointment with the Groom on the wedding Day. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 2Tim 3 :16-17. 5. The bride must give her consent. To say “I do” to Jesus the Messiah is to Do. Faith without works is dead, the “I do” is an active word, the consent to the marriage is consent to execute the betrothal contract - Ketubah – which is the Bible for a follower of Christ. The difference between a bride who shall meet the final appointed day of the wedding and a betrothed who shall fall along the way is violation of the terms of the Ketubah. The difference between someone who only confesses Christ as savior and believes in Him and someone who not only believes but is following the Messiah is Obedience to instructions/commandments. “As He spake these words, many believed on Him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed.” John 8:30-31. Being betrothed to Yahushua is not a guarantee to attend the wedding feast; it is the execution of the betrothal contract (Ketubah/Bible) that shows real intent and consent of the bride to have a chance to be taken to the wedding feast by Yahushua. “He that hath My commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me: and he that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him. If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make Our abode with him. He that loveth Me not keepeth not My sayings: and the word which ye hear is not Mine, but the Fathers which sent Me. ” John 14:21, 23-24. 6. Gifts were given to the bride and a cup called the cup of the covenant was shared between the bride and the groom. The rite of betrothal (erusin) is completed when the groom gives something of value to the bride and she accepts it. When the groom places a ring on the bride’s finger, the rite of betrothal is completed. This completed rite is known in Hebrew as Kiddushin. This means “Sanctification.” The gift YHWH gives to those who accept Yahushua is the Holy Spirit (this is a betrothal gift, the wedding has not taken place). The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of YHWH in Yahushua and the Spirit of Yahushua in us. “And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through Thine own name those whom Thou hast given me, that they may be one, as We are. Sanctify them through thy truth: Thy word is truth. I in them, and Thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved me. And I have declared unto them Thy Name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith Thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:11, 17, 23-26. In Christ we have our righteousness, grace, faith, and other spiritual gifts – all according to His will. John 14:26, 15:26-27; Acts 2:38. In addition, at this time the cup of the marriage covenant was shared and sealed between the bride and groom with the drinking of wine. In doing so, the couple drinks from a common cup. Jeremiah 31:31-33. “And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. And He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is My body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of Me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.” Luke 22:17-20. 7. The bride had a Mikvah (water immersion), which is a ritual cleansing. Mikvah is a Hebrew word that means “pool” or “body of water.” This is a ceremonial act of purification by the immersion in water. It indicates a separation from former way to a new way. In the case of marriage, it indicates leaving an old life for a new life with your spouse. Immersing in the Mikvah is considered spiritual rebirth For the follower of Christ, the Word is the pool of water for our Mikvah; we need to be transformed and reborn by renewal of our minds. The Holy Ghost is the immerse of GOD and we must take in the Word. This process for a believer is the necessary “born again” transformation that Jesus was telling Nicodemus; we must be born again (Mikvah/cleansing as brides of Christ) of water and of the Spirit to bring about separation from the former things – leaving the old life for a new life with our groom, Jesus the Messiah. This conversion ritual is a spiritual rebirth by the Word and the Spirit, YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN - it is a Must. “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Eph 5:25-27. “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mothers womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” John 3:3-7. 8. The bridegroom departed, going back to his father’s house to prepare the bridal chamber. It was understood to be the man’s duty to go away to be with his father, build a house, and prepare the eventual wedding. Before he goes, he will make a statement to the bride: “I go to prepare a place for you; if I go, I will return again unto you.” This is the same statement Yahushua made: “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Fathers house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14:1-3. 9. The bride was consecrated and set apart for a period of time while the bridegroom was away building the house. Before the bridegroom could go and get the bride, the groom’s father had to be satisfied that every preparation had been made by the son, only then could he give permission to the son to go get the bride. “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.” Mark 13:32-37. 10. The bridegroom would return with a shout, Behold, the bridegroom comes and the sound of the rams horn (shofar) would be blown. The time of the return of the bridegroom was usually at midnight. When the bridegroom did come, he came with a shout and with the blowing of a Shofar (trumpet). The marriage between the bride and the groom will take place under the chupah or wedding canopy. The groom is greeted like a king under the chupah. “While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.” Matt 25:5-7. “For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the Trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1Thess 4:16-17. This is the place of interest concerning the feast of Trumpets: Christ shall return on a given Appointed Visitation – and it is clear that one knows the Day or Hour that this shall be, but He asked us to Watch! The idiom “No one knows the day or the hour” easily relates to feast of Trumpets, it is supported by prophecy; That is why feast of Trumpet is also Yom Hakeseh, meaning:- “The Day of the Hiding,” or “The Hidden Day,” or “Day of the Concealed Moon; because of the uncertainty of the day and time of blowing the shofar. Christ shall return on a particular feast of Trumpet, but we can only Watch and Pray and stay Awake; as Christ also said: “Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. IF THOU SHALT NOT WATCH, I WILL COME ON THEE AS A THIEF, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.” Rev 3:3. Meaning – but If we stay connected and holy, and we Watch and test all prophecy; then His coming shall NOT overtake us like a thief. JESUS’ RETURN SHALL BE BY PROPHECY. “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.” 1Thess 5:3-6. 11. He would abduct his bride, usually in the middle of the night, to go to the bridal chamber where the marriage would be consummated. This is the full marriage, known in Hebrew as nesuin. The bride and groom will go to the wedding chamber, or chadar in Hebrew, where the marriage will be consummated. They will stay in that wedding chamber for seven days, or a week. At the end of the seven days, the bride and groom will come out from the wedding chamber. “Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.” Joel 2:15-16. 12. Finally, there would be a marriage supper for all the guests invited by the father of the bride. The bride and the groom would be in the wedding chamber for seven days. When the bride and the groom initially went into the wedding chamber, the friend of the bridegroom stood outside the door. On the wedding day, the bridegroom is seen as a king and the bride as a queen. During the consummation of the marriage, the bridegroom (Yeshua) will be crowned King over all the earth and the bride (the believers in Yeshua, the Messiah) will live with Him and rule with Him forever. The crowning of the King and the marriage can be seen in Isaiah 62:3-7. At the end of the week (seven-year tribulation, or birthpangs of the Messiah), the marriage supper will take place (Rev 19:6-10). The base of this study was gotten mainly from author, Eddie Chumney, after I read his work on Rosh Hashanah among others, I got understanding and additional scripture so that I could publish and share this important note on Feast Of Trumpets. JESUS IS COMING: AND IT SHALL BE BY PROPHECY Stay Pure & Holy: Stay AWAKE and Watch & Pray! Thank you.
