FRIDAY NIGHT MUSIC @ HAWTHORNS We are proud to be the host of the Glastonbury open-mic night held here every Tuesday from 8.30 p.m. to 11.30. and; The Backdoor Man Blues Jam held here every Sunday from 5.00 p.m to 7.00 p.m. In addition to these nights we have our; Friday Night Music Nights (Entry by donation, £3-£5 please help us to support local live music!) WEDNESDAY 4th FEB; SAM WELBOURN & GREG SEAGAR An evening of classical Guitar and Poetry, Sam with some original tunes from his current album, inspired by life on the levels, and Greg’s poems drawn from his world wide travels, a touch of culture. (Entry by donation) FRIDAY 6th FEB; LINDA’S BIRTHDAY PARTY A selection of our Open Mic regulars playing for Linda on this special Birthday. FRIDAY 13th FEB; LAZY DAZE Another local Band with style, and a great sound. Folk rock with “Steam Punk” style, always great to hear and very pleasing on the eye, featured at last year’s Frost Farye Godney Gathering, Farm Fest, and the Glastonbury Fringe. SATURDAY 14th FEB; “WILD WILLY BARRETT’S FRENCH CONNECTION” An extra special night with; “The Godfather of Grunge Folk”, and his French Connection, for St Valentines Night. Willy is undisputedly a world class musician joined by his regular band, John Devine and Mary Holland and fronted by French songstress, Araura Coulson, Special French menu to accompany this evening. FRIDAY20th FEB; JOHN D REVELATOR The long awaited launch of John’s Album, featuring a host of witty, insightful, and some hard hitting songs, from John’s extensive repertoire of folk inspired tunes. Here with his full band so a great sound and a chance to get a copy of his CD! (Plus a support slot from “Bluesman”, ANDY BADMAN) FRIDAY 27th FEB; BARN STREET Mitch Norman and the Band, a bunch of seasoned professionals, delivering a “West Coast” sound reminiscent of the protest movement of the late 1960’s in the states.
