Feeling VERY blessed. Its been a rough week with Ariana starting college and being 7 months into Genes deployment. But AMAZING friends and family have pulled me through. Thanks to Kelly Fondren Juenger for this sweet surprise of flowers and goodies when we returned from a great visit with Alexandre Rebeiz and Vlada and seeing my awesome inlaws. Huge thanks to Bryden for the DELICIOUS breakfast (syrup compliments of Donna Turner and homemade blueberry jam compliments of Maggie Tutko). Thanks so much to Dawn Friedrichs who is ALWAYS there for me and checks in to make sure Im surviving this sucky separation from my honey and to my incredible Thirty-One sisters and other friends who keep my spirits up. You are ALL appreciated more than you know and you have been my net when loneliness and depression have threatened to set in. I have to thank my hubby for being amazing about checking in as much as possible via FB Messenger, despite the huge time difference and inconvenience of having to type everything to each other. I appreciate Richard Clay Sasser for always helping with house sitting while we travel and helping me from getting overwhelmed with keeping up with the house. And I am SO lucky and blessed to have the BEST family. Even though we all live very far from each other, you are always there to support me. Im not going to lie. Some days this deployment feels like not such a big deal. Other days, like graduation, dripping Ariana off at college, special trips, Brydens soccer regionals, the nights when Im up until 4 am, and having to put Maia to sleep and losing Aunt Kay..... the loneliness and pain is almost crushing. All of YOU are what help me pull through by being there for me and reaching out when I need it most (but dont know how to ask for help). This is social media at its finest and I cant thank you all enough.
