Feeling a bit lost and hoping for some ideas! My son Carson is 3.5 years old. He has cerebral palsy, severe cortical visual impairment and hydrocephalus. He is immobile but is growing in his verbal skills. The last couple months, when frustrated (little frustrated or big frustrated), he is pinching, scratching or pulling hair of the person caring for him (mainly me). We have tried light slaps on the hand, firm nos and restraining his arm right after. It continues to be a battle. He is a strong big boy (43 lbs already) so he can do some damage. I am feeling at a loss for who to turn to or where to get help with his behavior. I would love any suggestions!!!!! We live in Snohomish County in Washington State.
