Feeling bad for my sister Jenny Gilliland today. Shes missing a very important wedding down in Portland because almost a MONTH ago, Greyhound very incompetently sold her a ticket, sent her an itinerary and confirmation, only to tell her the day before her trip that it was a broken ticket and it doesnt exist. They refused to find her a place on the bus, stating that they werent going to kick someone off to find her a seat regardless of the date that tickets were purchased... Um, they kicked HER off the bus by not honoring her ticket bought on June 6th! To show a customer service gesture, they will be glad to offer her a refund for her unused ticket. She had requested that they foot the bill for her upcoming trip within B.C. at the end of the month, since Greyhound is a huge company and should be able to accommodate a passenger (that they screwed over.) Hmmm... doesnt customer service mean... 1.) selling products you actually have the right and competence to sell 2.) honoring contracts, not taking someones money for nothing 3.) using the take a number system in a business setting and satisfying those who paid first 4.) treating customers properly! Like I told Greyhound, bad press travels, and it doesnt need a ticket. Pass it on!
