Feeling depressed, stressed or over-whelmed lately? Your not the only one! Its actually easy to feel better with a few tried and tested techniques: 1. Spend time with an affectionate pet. 30 mins of puppy/cat cuddle releases seretonin and dopamine and they make you feel all warm and lovely inside! 2. Smile or wave at a stranger. Fake it if you have to and just the act of doing this will trigger happiness and connectedness from within. 3. Play! Be silly! Have fun. Force yourself to be silly, simply to lighten your load and give you a respite from the current challenges. 4. Visit family and friends that are fun, positive and playful. Try to just experience your time together without running your story over and over. 5. Go outside! Barefoot on the ground and some skin in the sun. Soak up that Vitamin D and realign your energy centers with the life force between the earth and sky. 6. Give yourself a break. Appreciate your vulnerabilities as much as your strengths, they make us beautiful. You are beautiful. You are loved. You are safe to feel your feelings.
