Feeling the best Ive felt in the past two weeks. It was really great to get back to our previous doctor as our primary care physician. We were able to bump up the appointment originally scheduled for next Monday and I saw him yesterday. I’d had a horrible migraine-like headache since Monday and was hacking up an increasing amount of fresh blood that was running down the back of my throat – but none out of my nose this past week. Even though I had been on a four times a day, 7-day course of antibiotics following ER visit number two [here in Portland], the doctor suspects I’ve developed a rather nasty infection due to the trauma to my nasal and sinus cavities. He thinks the constant bleeding is from the infection. He’s put me on a stronger antibiotic for this next week – and he’s very much aware that antibiotics are not necessarily a good thing for me. Much less pain/pressure on the left side of my head today. Still have a fairly decent headache and bleeding this afternoon. Last night the doctor was going to be going over all of my medical records from the past six weeks. He does want to get a head/brain MRI scheduled and will see me again after the MRI. With this doctor having dealt with so many of my past unusual health issues, I’m MUCH more comfortable and confident being his patient once again. Thanks again for your concern and thoughts.
