#FestAfrica Free Outdoor African Festival! Sat Aug 9th & Sun Aug 10th from 1pm - 8pm at Veterans Plaza, Silver Spring - MD FestAfricaUSA Come Celebrate African Culture and Heritage Address: 1 Veterans Place, Silver Spring MD, 20906 (Corner of Fenton St. and Ellsworth Drive). The festival is Free to the Public. Come with your lawn chair or stand and enjoy great performances! FestAfrica is hosted by Afropolitan Youth Association and has grown to become DMV’s largest African Festival with over 8,000 people expected expected attendees. The festival will feature music by local and international African Artists and dance performances, African cuisine, vendors, games for children, health fair, career fair, and tourism fair and many more.
