Festa Junina - 2 celebrations Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 16 Festas Juninas, or June Festivals, are traditional celebrations which were brought to Brazil by Portuguese colonizers. They celebrate St. Anthony on June 13, St. John on June 24, and St. Peter on June 29. The celebration involves cowboy outfits, traditional dance called “quadrilha”, games, raffles, and traditional Brazilian food. This is an event for the entire family.
