Fighters from the bloody conflicts in Syria and Iraq are living in Queensland but Police Commissioner Ian Stewart said they were being closely monitored as part of the states terror watch. Phew, what a relief! I guess we all feel so much safer to know that they are being monitored. I applaude our government and security agencies for their efforts so far, but this issue is not going away. Those within the communities that these Fighters are now living in, need to be vigilant and assist in keeping all of us safe and protected from this threat. How do you feel about having these Fighters living amongst us? I guess we are lucky in a lot of ways, as our State Government is very attuned to all issues in this regard, lets just hope and pray that Sydney does not happen here.
