‘Fighting fund’ collection from Saturday DEEP PRADHAN, MIRIK, 30 Aug 2013: The GJM Vidhyarthi Morcha today organised a huge rally in Soureni Bazaar after which student leader Chedup Waiba and GJM Mirik president Fubi Rai addressed the supporters. They announced a ‘Fighting Fund’ for the statehood agitation would be collected beginning tomorrow. Donation boxes will be put up at several vantage points and receipt copies issued for donations of Rs5,000 and above. A mass rally in demand of Gorkhaland will also be brought out on Saturday, according to the leaders.
